Teknique Studios was
founded by Jaco
Ferreira in 2004,
originally as a
general one-man
part-time IT
business, selling,
repairing and
upgrading PC's. In
2009, Jaco started
working for a local
IT business, and
Teknique Studios
took a backseat for
a while. |

Over time, and due
to an increasing
demand in the local
market, the business
started offering
graphic design and
web design services.
Initially these
services were very
basic, including
design of business
cards and brochures,
general signage
design and design of
static websites. |

In 2011, Teknique
Studios expanded it's
services to include
software development
with Microsoft Visual
Studio .NET. as well as
database development
with Microsoft Access.
More advanced web
development services
like, ASP.NET database
driven websites were
included, as well as the
introduction of Adobe
Flash animation and web
components. |

During 2010, Jaco got
involved in Forex
Trading, and
subsequently developed a
training course over the
span of three years,
which he offered to
local clients as a part-
or full-time training
course. The Forex
training material was a
collection of
information (and lessons
learned) over the first
three years of his Forex
Trading career. Although
most trading activities
are manual based
systems, automated
trading systems became
popular. Jaco spent a
great deal of time,
learning the MQL
programming language,
and started developing
automated trading
systems (called Expert
Advisors) and Indicators
for the MetaTrader
trading software. |
